Mailbox Miracle

But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

In October we received a letter letting us know that our last payment for our van would be due on November 1. This final payment was more than we had expected. We had, over the life of the loan, acquired a few fees here and there. We mailed our payment and just told our self, "At least we are done. No more payments!!" Well, today we received a letter in the mail from the bank with the title for the van and a check!!! They had figured our final payment wrong. It was such a blessing to get this check, and even more to know that there are still honest banks!!!

If the shoe fits . . . you should keep it!!!

This past weekend we were in Ada, OK!! We had the chance to be with some friends in a sweet church. Thanks so much Bro. Holt and family!!! For us to have a weekend that things didn't go just as planned this was the best place for us to be - among friends!! We missed our turn on the drive up and went 2 hours out of the way, but got there in time for dinner and fellowship!! Sunday morning we got up and were getting dressed when Mike comes up to me and says, "I hope you find this as funny as I do, but honey I have two left feet!" I looked at him, and low and behold he indeed had two left feet, well shoes that is. Yes, TWO LEFT dress shoes. Not even the same color!!! He laughed and I just sighed!! We began to make plans. I would drop him off at the church, then the kids and I would search the town for a Wal-mart. We ran, and I do mean ran, into Wal-mart and picked up a pair of black dress shoes. We hurry back to church so Mike can change before he preaches. The preacher does find out about the shoe mix up and has a good laugh.

After the morning church service the Pastor and his family take us out to Laser Zone. A family friendly bowling, arcade, and laser tag. The kids had not been bowling in over a year and we were all so excited to go enjoy a good game. We get checked in and everyone gets the bowling shoes on and picks out a ball that is just right. We bowl two games then pack up to head back to the Pastors house for some rest before the Sunday night service. As we pull into the drive way, Jonah says, "Mom when do I take these bowling shoes off?" Mike and I look at each other, and think, "No, he didn't just take bowling shoes!" But YES HE DID!!! We get out of the van and just stare at Jonah's bowling shoes. We have mailed them back . . . Jonah wanted to keep them. He thinks they are cool.

Thanks! You are the best!!

Let me start this blog by saying we have been blessed more than we can ever tell. God has had His hand on our family this last month. We have been at churches big and small. We have seen how God is leading our family and we know that we are in the center of His will. In this first month we have seen God supply all our needs. Not always our wants but all our needs. We have not gone without a meal. We have paid all our bills. We have not always had what we wanted but we have always had what we needed!! God is so good. For the sake of time I would like to list some of the blessings we have received this month and the churches we have been at.
