Banana Ice Cream

Raise your hand if you love ice cream!

Raise your hand if you love chocolate!

Raise your hand if you love bananas!

Let's you show you how to make
Banana Ice Cream

Here is what you need -

a banana {sliced and frozen}
a package of hot cocoa mix *(please see note)
a splash of milk
a blender or food processor

Here is what you do -

add frozen banana slices into food processor
empty the package of hot cocoa mix
and a little splash of milk

now chop or blend until it looks like this!

It will be the consistency of soft serve ice cream.
If you want it a little more firm,
put it back in the freezer for about an hour.

You could also added a spoon full of peanut butter too.
Yummy!

My kids love it!!

* today for the pictures on the blog I used
Hershey's Syrup instead of cocoa mix.

  1. Just a note on this, make sure the bannanas are ripe. I made it and the bannanas were a little green but I thought after being in the freezer it would be ok. NOT!!! What amazed me is that when you freeze the bannanas they didn't turn dark. But when you make it with ripe bannana's it is amazing stuff.
